A core tenant of our organization is placing the proper value on the work and achievements of womxn. Naturally, this means our hiring and promotion process will always reflect that. As our company grows we will be doing our best to always promote from within and provide opportunities for the womxn who work for us to grow with us.

Operations Assistant/Manager
You’re extremely goal oriented and have a mind for business. You’ve seen what we do and want to help us do it bigger and better.
Main Responsibilities
Assist our Director of Operations on daily tasks, be highly involved in the hiring and supervision of the team, assist with long-term strategy for the organization
Brand Ambassador
You have a passion for building relationships and want to connect a bunch of incredible womxn focused/supporting small businesses around a community you're passionate about.
Main Responsibilities
Manage sponsor relations, sell ad space, secure vendors for events
Website Admin/Digital Marketing Specialist
You’re an experienced front end developer, a Squarespace newcomer, or anything in between! Interested in taking our online presence up a notch while gaining some insight and experience into online marketing
Main Responsibilities
Basic website updates, blog uploads, calendar maintenance, running and tracking FB ads
Blog Writer
You are real good at the words. You’re an aspiring journalist who is tired of the blog posts and “articles” with no substance; craving a publication that researchers and writes thought provoking content. You’re interested in covering topics like Mental Health, The LGBTQIA+ Community, Womxn’s Rights/Issues/Current Events, Music and Art.
Community Ambassador
You are OBSESSED with Sad Girl Music and the artists we feature. You want nothing more than to go to awesome shows, meet awesome people, and listen to awesome music.
Main Responsibilities
Keep up with the careers of all SGM Alumni, make sure we’re aware of shows their performing/releases they have, run the door at SGN, Support all the Womxn!
Editorial Assistant
You’re all about social media! You love the message of Sad Girl Music and want to engage with our audience and spread that message.
Main Responsibilities
Scheduling social media posts, engaging with the audience from our accounts, aiding with long-term strategy
Graphic Designer
You’ve seen some of the ads and graphics we put out and want in on the action. You can work on a deadline and are good at designing variety while keeping consistent with branding.
VOLUNTEER
If you don’t feel you have the necessary experience of knowledge base to apply for one of the positions listed above we’re ALWAYS looking for volunteers! Whether you’re interested in helping our street team put up posters, helping us out day of Sad Girl Night with setup and tear down, or assisting any of the new hires listed above with their day-to-day we have plenty of opportunities to join the SGM family.
