Website Admin/Digital Marketing Specialist
Clearly you’ve seen our website, because here you are. We try to provide a space online where people can go to keep up with the womxn in music around Nashville. As we grow we want our website to stay up to date and be constantly updating with new events, and blog posts, as well as adding a robust online store where fans can purchase swag from both SGM and our alumni.
Prior experience with any or all of the areas outlined on this page is NOT required for this position. If you are interested in learning how to manage a template-based website, run digital ads, or get your start in the Digital Marketing industry we would love to teach you what we know and give you a place to learn.
Or if you feel like you have a firm grasp of the basics and need a place to practice, we want to hear from you!
As Website Admin your primary duties would include:
Updating the website monthly
Updating banner images and links to our events
Keeping the concert calendar and alumni pages updated
Regular SEO checks to ensure we’re optimized
Uploading and formatting blog posts
Manage the Merch Store
As Digital Marketing Specialist your primary duties include:
Manage digital ads
Uploading, and monitoring
Drafting copy
Devising and implementing overall digital ad strategy
Draw, monitor, and report on traffic to the site, blog, and merch store
Generate ticket sales for our events
This is a two-part job because at this stage of our growth plan the website only gets a full update once per month, our merch store is still in development, and we use a very basic ad strategy. All of this will be changing in the coming months and if you’d like to be a part of that change here’s your chance!
Starting Pay:
$100-$300/month (contingent on prior experience) + performance based bonuses
Growth Potential:
This position has one of the widest potential paths for growth within our organization. We’d like this person to grow into a full-time salaried Digital Marketing Director who will head the Marketing team and work with our Editorial and Sales teams on driving traffic to our various online platforms and events.
